The One2One English Program is designed to increase abilities and confidence in speaking, reading and writing English for school-age children in grades 6-10 in the Hadera-Eiron Region in Israel.

We are looking for educators - those who have been certified in the past and/or those who are currently certified - who want to engage with these young Israeli students using the Zoom virtual platform.

The program will be held on Sundays.  Each educator will be assigned two students - you will work with the students individually.  One student will be from 9:00am - 9:50am EST and the other student will be from 10:00am - 10:50am EST.  You will work with the same two students over the course of the 10 week-long program.

The program will take place on the following dates: January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 3, 10. 

Each educator will be responsible for planning lessons for their students based on the educational needs of their students and their current English knowledge.

Educators must commit to all sessions and one preparation meeting prior to the start of the program.

Applications are due no later than October 15, 2023.  They will be reviewed and all applicants will be notified no later than October 24, 2023.  Educators will be selected based on application and geographic location - we want to make sure we have educators from a cross-section of our Partnership Southeast communities.

There will be a mandatory Educator Training  - date to be determined.

There will be a stipend given to all educators upon completion of the program in the amount of $25/hour.
